We study the distribution of solutions of the polynomials associated with the characters of SU(n). In the previous papers we have studied the infinite graphs and their infinite incidence matrices associated with some algebraic equations of fixpoint type. In this paper we apply these results to the study of the characters of the special unitary group of degree n. The main results fall in two theorems (Theorem 3.1 and Theorem 3.2). Theorem 3.1 shows the Perron-Frobenius theory of the polynomials associated with the characters of SU(n). Theorem 3.2 shows that if \(n\geq 3\), the zeros of the polynomials are dense in some domain in the plane. When \(n=2\), the polynomials associated with the characters of SU(2) are Chebyshev polynomials of the second kind over the interval [-2,2]. Then the zeros of these polynomials are dense in the interval [-2,2]. Thus Theorem 3.2 is an extension of this result.
