On inversion of block Toeplitz matrices (Q1071846)

In another paper [Linear Algebra Appl. 75, 173-192 (1986; reviewed above)] the authors proved that the inverse of a Toeplitz matrix T can be constructed via three properly chosen columns of \(T^{-1}\), as well as some invertibility theorems. In this paper the authors generalize these results to the case of block Toeplitz matrices.
