    The author obtains the measurable solution of the 'sum form' functional equation \[ (1)\quad \sum^{n}_{i=1}\sum^{m}_{j=1}I(p_ iq_ j,v_ iw_ j)=\sum^{n}_{i=1}G(p_ i)\cdot \quad \sum_{j}I(q_ j,w_ j)+\sum^{m}_{j=1}L(q_ j)\cdot \sum_{i}I(p_ i,q_ i) \] for \(P=(p_ i)\), \(V=(v_ i)\in \Gamma_ n\), \(Q,W\in \Gamma_ m\) where \(I: J\to {\mathbb{R}}\) (where J should be [0,1]\(\times]0,1[\cup \{(0,0),(1,1)\})\) is measurable in each variable, G,L: [0,1]\(\to {\mathbb{R}}\) are measurable as \[ (2)\quad I(p,v)=a(p-v)+cp(mn-m-n)+c+p \log p^{\alpha}a^{\beta}+v \log v^{\gamma}, \] \(G(p)=L(p)=p\) or \((3)\quad I(p,v)=a(p-v)+p^{\alpha} \log p^{\beta} v^{\gamma},\) \(G(p)=L(p)=p^{\alpha}\) (\(\alpha\) \(\neq 1)\) or \((4)\quad I(p,v)=a(p- v)+I'(p)\) where I' satisfies \[ (5)\quad \sum^{n}_{i=1}\sum^{m}_{j=1}I'(p_ iq_ j)=\sum^{n}_{i=1}G(p_ i)\sum_{j}\quad I(q_ j)+\sum^{m}_{j=1}L(q_ j)\sum_{i}I(p_ i), \] but where G and L are not one of the forms given in (2) or (3).
