The article deals with numerical solution of the problem of equilibrium of a thin plate with a supported edge. The plane domain in which the problem is formulated is assumed to be bounded and simply connected. The boundary of the domain is assumed to be smooth. A direct and economical numerical solution method for the problem is presented.
