The paper discusses some points of the fuzzy-set concept and some related notions. A new approach to fuzzy-set theory is suggested and discussed, and some of its properties are presented. This new approach is connected with modification of the complement and fuzzy subset concepts. Main parts of the paper are devoted to an interesting discussion of some questionable points of fuzzy-set theory, and to possible ways of their clarification.
