The paper investigates the global controllability of piecewise-linear, hypersurface dynamical systems. Using the defined controllability connection matrix, necessary conditions and necessary and sufficient conditions for complete controllability of piecewise-linear, time- invariant, finite-dimensional dynamical systems are formulated and proved. The classification of the accessibility properties of the polyhedra along their boundaries is accomplished by distinguished six types of connections. Some similar aspects of piecewise-linear dynamical system had been considered by \textit{E. D. Sontag}, IEEE Trans. Autom. Control AC-26, 346-358 (1981; Zbl 0557.49011)]. Two illustrative examples are also given.
