On the intertwinings between higher cohomology modules of line bundles on G/B (Q1103052)

This paper is essentially an appendix to two other papers of the authors [J. Algebra 114, No.2, 286-332 (1988) and Pac. J. Math. 130, 253-274 (1987)]. Let G be a simple, simply connected affine algebraic group over an algebraically closed field of characteristic p and B a Borel subgroup. This paper studies extensions between certain composition factors (called scaffolding factors of the cohomology modules of line bundles on G/B. It also determines which scaffolding factors appear in the image of certain intertwinings between such modules.
