Let U be a nuclear locally convex separable space and let in U operations of multiplication and involution be introduced such that U becames a commutative topological *-algebra. The element \(f\in U\) is called quasianalytical if there exists a sequence \((m_ n)^{\infty}_{n=1}\), where \(m_ n\in {\mathbb{R}}\), \(m_ n>0\) and \(\sum^{\infty}_{n=1}(\inf_{k=n,n+1,...}m_ k^{1/k})^{- 1}=+\infty\) and for which the set \(((1/m_ n)f^ n\in U\), \(n=1,2,...)\) is bounded in U. Let U q be a set of all quasianalytical elements of U. If \(U=U^ q\) then the algebra U is called a nuclear quasianalytical algebra. Examples of such algebras are \({\mathcal D}({\mathbb{R}}^ n\)), \({\mathcal S}({\mathbb{R}}^ n\)) with pointwise multiplication and involution \(f^*(x)= \overline{f(x)}\) and \({\mathcal S}({\mathbb{R}}^ n\)) with convolution as multiplication and involution \(f^*(x)= \overline{f(-x)}\). It is proved that any strongly continuous irreducible representation of nuclear quasianalytical algebras has dimension 1 and any strongly continuous *-representation is a direct integral of representations multiple to one-dimensional ones.
