[Part II, cf. the prececing review.] This is the third in a series of papers studying group presentations with a small-cancellation condition which the author calls W(4), and which is weaker than the non-metric condition C(4) \& T(4). The precise definition was given in the first paper of the series [ibid. 55, 65-93 (1986; Zbl 0603.20028)]. In this paper, the conjugacy problem is solved for such groups, by the standard method of finding bounds for the size of an annular diagram in terms of the lengths of its boundary components.
