This is an extension of the author's work [ibid. 22, 309-331 (1987; Zbl 0645.65079)] to the case of tapered finite-span fins. It is an algebraic technique for the generation of a 3-D grid generated by stacking a sequence of 2-D grids on predetermined `blank' surfaces in the fin and tip regions. The afterbody being a body of revolution the stacking surfaces become surfaces of revolution. Similar geometric considerations are used for other regions. An example of a grid is given to illustrate the method.
