Answering a question posed by A. Wilansky, the author investigates the sets \(I_ b(c)\) of all composite integers m, such that \(S_ p(b,m)- S(b,m)=c\). Here S(b,m) denotes the sum of digits of m in base b and \(S_ p(b,m)=\sum_{i}S(b,p_ i)\), where \(m=\prod_{i}p_ i\), with primes \(p_ i\).
