Syntopogeneous structures were introduced by \textit{A. Császár} [Foundations of General Topology (1963)] as a unifying concept for topological spaces, uniform spaces, and proximity spaces. \textit{A. K. Katsaras} and \textit{C. G. Petalas} have developed fuzzy analogs of these structures [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 99, 219-236 (1984; Zbl 0558.54001)]. The author continues his study by defining totally bounded fuzzy syntopogenous structures, which allows him to define total boundedness for a fuzzy quasi-uniform space. He also shows that the restriction of the usual fuzzy uniformity for the fuzzy real line to a subset Y is totally bounded if and only if Y is a bounded subset of the fuzzy real line.
