On fuzzy syntopogeneous structures (Q762781)

The authors investigate fuzzy syntopogeneous structures, based on the term of order on the fuzzy subsets. In particular they study initial fuzzy syntopogeneous structures, initial fuzzy proximities, products, subspaces, and the continuity of a function between fuzzy syntopogenous (proximity) spaces; among others they show that such a function is continuous with respect to the corresponding fuzzy topologies. The authors introduced the fuzzy syntopogenous structures in their attempt to find a unified theory of fuzzy topologies, fuzzy proximities and fuzzy uniformities [Rev. Roum. Math. Pures Appl. 28, 845-856 (1983; Zbl 0521.54002)].
