The Littlewood-Richardson rule (see \textit{D. E. Littlewood} and \textit{A. R. Richardson} [Philos. Trans. R. Soc. Lond., Ser. A 233, 99-141 (1934; Zbl 0009.20203)]) gives a method for computing the coefficients in the expansion of the product of two Schur functions (\(S\)-functions) as a sum of Schur functions. Recently \textit{P. Pragacz} [Topics in invariant theory, Proc. Séminaire d'Algèbre Paul Dubreil et Marie-Paule Malliavin, Lect. Notes Math. 1478, 130-191 (1991; Zbl 0783.14031)] proved an identity relating the combinatorial definition of a supersymmetric \(S\)-function to a Weyl type formula. In the present paper the authors show how this identity gives rise to a new algorithm for Littlewood-Richardson coefficients that is easy to implement.
