The Conley index and the method of averaging (Q1176312)

The paper presents theorems concerning the existence of global solutions or the asymptotic behaviour of solutions for some nonautonomous ordinary differential equations. It is assumed that the right-hand sides of these equations are almost periodic or periodic with respect to the time parameter. The existence of some isolated invariant sets with nonzero Conley index is also assumed. In some of the theorems the averaged equations to the considered ones are used.
