The authors consider the intersection lattice \(\kappa_ \Phi\) of reflection hyperplanes for an irreducible Weyl group \(W_ \Phi\) with root system \(\Phi\). It is known [see \textit{P. Orlik} and \textit{L. Solomon}, Invent. Math. 59, 77-94 (1980; Zbl 0452.20050)] that for complexified vector space \(V\) spanned by \(\Phi\), on which \(W_ \Phi\) acts as a reflection group, and for the Möbius function \(\mu_{\kappa_ \Phi}\) on \(\kappa_ \Phi\), the polynomial \[ {\mathcal P}_ \Phi= \sum_{y\in\kappa_ \Phi} \mu_{\kappa_ \Phi}(V,y) (- t)^{\text{codim } y} \] is equal to the Poincaré polynomial of the complement of all reflecting hyperplanes in \(V\). In the present article the polynomial \[ {\mathcal P}_ \Phi^ w= \sum_{y\in\kappa_ \Phi^ w} \mu_{\kappa_ \Phi^ w} (V,y) (-t)^{\text{codim } y} \] is calculated for various \(\Phi\) and fixed \(w\in W\) including the types \(A\), \(B\), \(C\) and \(D\). The types \(A\), \(B\) and \(C\) have been studied by G. I. Lehrer and L. Solomon but the approach in this paper is different. The case \(\Phi=D\) has not appeared in literature yet.
