Technically it is too complicated to describe the spaces \(B(\infty;\infty)\), \(B(\infty;1)\), \(B(1;\infty)\), \(B(1;1)\), \(B(0;\infty)\), \([B]^ 1\) and \([B]^ \infty\) occuring in the present paper. The author gives necessary and sufficient conditions for an infinite complex matrix \(A\) to map arbitrary \(p\)-normed FK spaces into any of the spaces mentioned above. Further the author applies his results to characterize classes of matrix transformations in the spaces \(B(r;p)\) and \([B]^ p\). He considers various special cases which yield most of the classical results. The author refers to his papers ``Some duals of sequence spaces in a new class'' and ``The Köthe-Toeplitz and continuous duals of sequence spaces in a new class'', that are to appear.
