By considering Pascal's triangle \({}\bmod {p^ 2}\) or \({}\bmod {p^ 3}\) various patterns are observed, and then proved. For example, it is shown that, for \(p>3\), \(\sum^{p-2}_{i=0}{p+i\choose p-1}\equiv 0\pmod {p^ 2}\text{ and } {(k+1)p-1\choose hp}\equiv{(k+1)p-1\choose (h+1)p- 1}\equiv{kp\choose hp}\equiv{k\choose h}\pmod {p^ 3}\). This paper extends earlier work concerning binomial coefficients divisible by powers of \(p\) [see for example \textit{M. Sved} and \textit{J. Pitman}, Ars Comb. 26A, 197-222 (1988; Zbl 0673.10011)].
