    Let \((p_ n)\) be a sequence with \(p_ 0>0\), \(p_ n\geq 0\), and \(P_ n=\sum_{k=0}^ n p_ k\), then the summability methods \(M_ p\) and \(J_ p\) for the sequence \((s_ n)\) are defined by \[ \lim_{n\to\infty} P_ n^{-1} \sum_{k=0}^ n p_ k s_ k \qquad\text{and} \qquad \lim_{x\to 1-} \sum_{n=0}^ \infty p_ n s_ n x^ n/\sum_{n=0}^ \infty p_ n x^ n \] respectively. The methods are regular iff \(P_ n\to\infty\) for \(n\to\infty\); in this case \(s_ n\to s(M_ p)\) implies \(s_ n\to s(J_ p)\). The author proves several Tauberian conditions of the type \(M_ p\to c\), \(J_ p\to M_ p\) and \(J_ p\to c\) for methods with \(P_ n/P_ m\to\infty\) ans \(n/m\to\infty\).
