With respect to two-person games of hyperfinite length in which the set of all plays of the game is internal and the set of plays by which a specified player wins is possibly external, Cutland asked whether or not games in which the winning sets are Borel (with respect to a hyperfinite set) are also hyperdetermined, where hyperdetermine means that one player has an internal winning strategy. In this paper, the author gives three examples, two of his own and one from Jin Renling, that answer the question negatively.
