This paper studies the condition for continuous linear splitting of the weighted \(\overline\partial\)-complex of \(L^ 2\) type. The first condition (*) presented in the article is expressed via the existence of a certain family of plurisubharmonic functions whose growth order is bounded by the weight of the complex in a certain way. In some special cases such as radially symmetric weights, the second condition \((**)\), more geometric, is valid which is expressed by a kind of inequality for the convex functions obtained from the weight. This paraphrase is also shown to be valid for some weights characterizing the Fourier image of some spaces of (generalized) functions. This approach improves former results of Meise-Taylor or of the author himself in such cases which were given by a direct approach.
