In this paper monodromy means the action of the fundamental group of the base manifold for a fibre bundle on the structure of its sheaf of functions. It is known that to each critical point there are associated two groups of automorphisms of the integral-valued lattices (i.e. homology) which keep a symmetric form and an antisymmetric form (i.e. index of intersection) invariant respectively. In the first part, the author investigates the conditions in which the symmetric and antisymmetric operators of the monodromy are the representations of the same one loop of fundamental group, and the result can be expressed as the coincidence of images of these operators in the \(\mathbb{Z}_ 2\)- monodromy. In the second part, the orbits of \(\mathbb{Z}_ 2\)-monodromy for all types of singularities are described, and the number of vectors contained in each orbit is calculated.
