The author describes an approach which leads to a construction of the enveloping algebra \(U(sl_n)\) and all its finite-dimensional irreducible representations. The techniques are inspired by a paper of \textit{A. Beilinson, G. Lusztig} and \textit{R. MacPherson} [Duke Math. J. 61, 655-677 (1990; Zbl 0713.17012)].
