From the introduction of part I of this work [see the preceding review Zbl 0937.16012]: Preprojective algebras were introduced by Gelfand and Ponomarev (and implicitly in the work of Riedtmann) to study the representation theory of a finite quiver without oriented cycles. Subsequently preprojective algebras have played a role in classification problems of algebras of finite type. They have since occurred in other diverse topics and, for example, have been studied by Kronheimer to deal with problems in differential geometry and by Lusztig to construct canonical bases for quantum groups. To any graph \(\Delta\) it can be associated a preprojective algebra \({\mathcal P}(\Delta)\), which is finite dimensional if and only if \(\Delta\) is a union of Dynkin diagrams. In the paper under review, the authors continue their study of the Hochschild cohomology of finite dimensional preprojective algebras. Here, they determine their ring structure given by the Yoneda product.
