It is proved that any two isomorphic maximal \(\mathcal J\)-trivial subsemigroups of \(T(X)\), the full transformation semigroup on a finite set \(X\), are conjugate with respect to some member of the symmetric group on \(X\) and that the number of such semigroups is, up to isomorphism, \(2^{(n-1)/(n-2)/2}\) (where \(n=| X|\)). The proof uses results and ideas appearing in another paper of the author where these semigroups are characterized in terms of their fixed point sets and their orbits (graphical components).
