The paper deals with the proof of the theorem on the equivalence of the notions of uniform Cauchy and Heine convergence in the general case of convergence on a set base. Namely, if the function \(f(x,y)\) converges in the Heine sense to \(g(y)\) with respect to the base \(B\) uniformly on the set \(Y\), then \( f(x,y)\overset {B}{\underset {Y}\Longrightarrow}g(y)\), and, vice versa, if \( f(x,y)\overset {B}{\underset {Y} \Longrightarrow}g(y)\), then \( f(x,y)\overset {(B)_{Hm}}{\underset {Y} \Longrightarrow}g(y)\).
