The author studies the stability of Mann and Ishikawa iterations for some Lipschitz \(\phi\)-strongly contractive mappings in general Banach spaces with main application to the approximation of the solutions of nonlinear \(\phi\)-strongly accretive type equations. In particular, it is shown that the \(T\)-stability of the Mann iteration implies the strong convergence of the procedure to a fixed point of \(T\).
