The paper deals with Hölder continuity of bounded solutions to strongly coupled quasilinear parabolic systems of particular form, belonging either to a widely investigated class of triangular systems, or to a specific class previuosly studied in [\textit{M. Wiegner}, Math. Ann. 292, No. 4, 711-727 (1992; Zbl 0801.35064)]. A major part of the paper is devoted to scalar nondegenerate parabolic equations of the following type: \[ \partial_t u= \text{div} \{ a(x,t,u,\nabla u)\}+b(x,t,u,\nabla u) \] in \(\Omega \times (0,T]\), (\(\Omega\subseteq \mathbb{R}^n\) open). For such equations the author provides an alternative proof of classical results concerning Hölder continuity of bounded solutions, using certain logarithmic functions previously introduced by Moser. The treatment is subsequently extended to the above referred parabolic systems. Although the paper only deals with interior regularity of solutions, according to the author the results can be extended to the whole domain for a wide class of boundary conditions.
