In this paper, the authors prove the rationality of the moduli space of rank two stable vector bundles on Fano surfaces. The technique they use is the wall crossing first studied by Qin. Let \(X\) be a Fano surface and \(M_L(c_1,c_2)\) be the moduli space of \(L\)-stable vector bundles of rank 2 and of Chern classes \(c_1\) and \(c_2\). Qin developed the technique how to compare \(M_L(c_1,c_2)\) with \(M_{L'}(c_1,c_2)\) for two different polarizations \(L\) and \(L'\). The authors first confirm a conjecture by Qin, which shows that for any rational surface (and for a bound of \(c_2)\) these two moduli spaces are birational. Then for each Fano surface \(X\) they check that \(M_L(c_1,c_2)\) is rational for certain specific choice of \(L\). Combined, they prove that the moduli space \(M_L(c_1,c_2)\) is rational when it is non-empty.
