On the sums and the products of Darboux cliquish functions (Q1297778)

The notion of cliquishness, introduced by \textit{H. P. Thielman} [Am. Math. Mon. 60, 156-161 (1953; Zbl 0051.13801)], and its connection with the properties of the Darboux and the Baire class are investigated. The author characterizes the functions which can be written as the sum or the product of Darboux cliquish functions. Maximal additive and maximal multiplicative classes of the family of all Darboux cliquish functions are also determined.
