The paper treats the problem of surviving of lower dimensional tori from resonant \(n\)-dimensional tori under perturbation. When only one resonant condition holds it was proved by the first author [Commun. Math. Phys. 177, 529-559 (1996; Zbl 0861.58030)] that at least two \((n-1)\)-dimensional tori survive from a resonant torus. This has been obtained only under the assumption for perturbations to be small. When there are exactly \(l\) resonant conditions, some technical difficulties prevented from proving the existence of \(l+1\) \((n-l)\)-dimensional invariant tori if we only suppose the smallness of perturbations. In this paper the author shows that at least \(2^{l}\) \(l-1\)-dimensional tori survive from a resonant torus under perturbation if the perturbation is small and some special conditions on the form of the unperturbed Hamiltonian hold.
