The authors extend several concepts which are well known for \(\mathbb{Z}_2\)-graded algebras to algebras with gradings in more general Abelian groups. Parts of the material are already available in the literature. The basic ingredient for the theory is a \(\mathbb{K}\)-algebra \(A\) which is endowed with a grading with values in an Abelian group \(G\) and is graded commutative with respect to an involutorial bicharacter \(\Gamma\colon G\to\mathbb{K}^*\). The authors first develop the concepts of \(A\)-modules, \(A\)-algebras, \(A\)-coalgebras, and \(A\)-bialgebras, as well as the corresponding morphisms and tensor products of these structures. Next, they study twisting maps on tensor products and Yang-Baxter equations. Then they introduce Milnor-Moore algebras, which are a generalization of Hopf algebras, and show how examples of such structures arise from compatible \(G\)-gradings on Hopf algebras. The last two chapters are devoted to the study of Lie superalgebra actions on the various structures introduced so far as well as to the theory of derivations and coderivations.
