The authors examine a steady-state plane-strain problem of linear coupled dynamic thermoelasticity for an infinite space made of two rigidly welded homogeneous isotropic half-spaces with different thermomechanical properties and subject to concentrated thermomechanical sources that move with a constant velocity parallel to the interface of half-spaces. An integral transform technique is used to obtain an asymptotic solution to the problem over suitable range of independent variables and parameters involved. The reviewer notes that there is an error in the fifth of interface conditions (9), and the condition should read: \(k_1\partial \theta_1/ \partial y-k_2 \partial\theta_2/ \partial y=0\).
