A 2-extension of the field \(\mathbb{Q}\) of rational numbers (Q1303344)

The author proves that there is one and only one normal 2-extension \(K/\mathbb{Q}\) with Galois group isomorphic to the free pro-2-product of \(\mathbb{Z}_2\) and \(\mathbb{Z}/2\mathbb{Z}\). The field \(K\) is the maximal 2-extension of \(\mathbb{Q}\) unramified outside 2 and \(\infty\).
