On space-time manifolds carrying a skew symmetric Killing vector field (Q1305348)

Let \((M,g)\) be a general space-time with usual differentiability conditions and normed hyperbolic metric \(g\) (i.e., \(g\) is of index 1), \(\mathcal{O}=\text{vect}\{e_{A}\mid A=1,\dots ,4\}\), \(\mathcal{O}^{*}=\text{covect}\{\omega^{A}\}\) the frame and associated coframe respectively and \(C\) a skew symmetric Killing vector field having \(e_{4}\) as a generative [\textit{R. Rosca}, Rend. Semin. Mat. Messina, Ser. II 16, No. 2, 131-145 (1993; Zbl 0859.53025)]. The authors derive many properties of the vector field \(C\), the distribution \(D_{C}=\{C,e_{4}\}\) and the properties of the Lie algebra induced by the vector fields \(C, e_{4}, \text{and }V\) where \(V\) is the dual vector of \((d\|C\|^2)\).
