The author unifies and extends earlier work [Rep. Math. Phys. 39, 425-432 (1997; Zbl 0892.47068)] on relativistic point interactions, including perturbations, of the one-dimensional Dirac operator by finitely many certain potentials. A similar method may be used to define more general perturbations of the Dirac operator.
