The paper deals with the integral geometry in \(n\)-dimensional Riemannian manifolds. The main results are the following: a) Derivation of the density of geodesics and the density of parallel strips along geodesics, using moving frames and the general setting of integral geometry in foliated spaces; b) Local versions of intersection formulas in 2- dimensional totally geodesic subspaces with a given hypersurface; c) Derivation of isoperimetric inequalities for closed curves in 3- dimensional Riemannian manifolds of non-positive sectional curvature, which generalize those given by the author for spaces of constant curvature [Result. Math. 22, No. 1-2, 622-630 (1992; Zbl 0762.53045)]; d) Extension to submanifolds of codimension 1 or 2 in Riemannian spaces of non-positive sectional curvature of the classical isoperimetric inequalities of Banchoff and Pohl for submanifolds of arbitrary dimension in Euclidean spaces; e) The last theorem considers a ``gleichdicke'' \(D\) in a 2-dimensional convex Riemannian manifold, giving lower and upper bounds for the length \(\partial D\) related to the minimum and the maximum of the Gauss curvature in \(D\). All topics considered are supplemented with accurate references.
