On a generalization of nil radicals (Q1314892)

A variety of algebras over an associative and commutative ring with unity element is considered. It is well-known that the class of all nil algebras is an important radical class (in the sense of Kurosh and Amitsur) in the variety of associative or alternative algebras. Using the notion of a class of allowable mappings introduced in this note, a generalization of the nilpotent and nil properties for arbitrary algebras is given, some results and many concrete examples are supplied.
