Let \(\alpha\) denote a fixed real number, \(M= [\alpha+ {1\over 2}]+1\) and let \(h(z)\) be a complex valued function which is regular and nonvanishing in the half-plane \(\text{Re}(z) >\alpha\). Let moreover \[ \psi_ h (s,a)= \sum_{n=M} ^ \infty {{\exp(2\pi ina)} \over {h(n)^ s}}, \] where \(0<a<1\). Suppose that (i) \(\psi_ h(s,a)\) converges for all sufficiently large real values of \(s\), (ii) \(\log| h(z)|\ll \log| z|\) and \(\arg h(z)\ll \log| z|\) for \(| z|\gg 0\), (iii) \(| h(z)|\to\infty\) as \(| z| \to\infty\). Under this notation the author proves that (a) \(\psi_ h(s,a)\) is extended to an integral function of \(s\) in the whole complex plane (theorem 1), (b) \(\psi_ h (0,a)= {{i\exp (2\pi ia\xi)} \over {2\sin(a \pi)}}\), where \(\xi= M-{1\over 2}\) (theorem 2), and finally that (c) in the special case when \(h(z)\) is a polynomial of \(z\), the value \(\psi_ h (-m,a)\) belongs to the field \({\mathbf F}(i \cot (a\pi))\) for any non- negative integer \(m\), \({\mathbf F}\) denoting a subfield of complex numbers containing all coefficients of \(h(z)\).
