Different kinds of elliptic problems modeling stiffened plates in linearized elasticity are compared. One of them is remarkable as far as domain decomposition is concerned, since it is possible to associate particularly efficient preconditioner. A theoretical estimate for the conditioning is given, which is confirmed by several numerical experiments.
