The main purpose of this paper is to improve the result for the spectral norm cited by \textit{J. Sun} [Linear Algebra Appl. 139, 253-267 (1990; Zbl 0711.15009)]. Also, bounds in Frobenius norms and in general unitarily invariant norms are presented.
