Biparametric quadratic Hamiltonians on the unit sphere: Complete classification (Q1338044)

The authors classify quadratic Hamiltonians of the form \[ {\textstyle {1\over 2}}Au^2+{\textstyle {1\over 2}}Bv^2+{\textstyle {1\over 2}}Cw^2+Duv+Euw+Fvw+Lu+Mv+Nw \] constrained to the sphere \[ u^2+v^2+w^2=1 \] with nonvanishing quadratic component. They can be reduced to the form either \[ {\textstyle {1\over 2}}u^2+{\textstyle {1\over 2}}Pv^2+Qu \] or \[ {\textstyle {1\over 2}}u^2+Pu+Qv \] .
