On doubly periodic solutions of fourth-order linear hyperbolic equations (Q1348731)

The article focuses on the problem of periodic solutions for the fourth-order linear hyperbolic equation \[ \begin{aligned} {\partial^4u\over\partial x^2 \partial y^2} & =p_0(x,y)u+ p_1(x,y){\partial^2u \over\partial x^2}+p_2(x,y) {\partial^2u \over\partial y^2}+q(x,y),\\ u(x+\omega_1,y) & =u(x,y),\;u(x,y+ \omega_2)= u(x,y),\\ p_j(x+\omega_1,y) & =p_j(x,y +\omega_2)=p_j(x,y),\\ q(x+ \omega_1,y) & =q(x,y+\omega_2)= q(x,y).\end{aligned} \] Sufficient conditions for the unique solvability -- for classical as well as generalized solutions -- of the above stated problem are proved.
