The paper under review continues the study of representations of special Hopf algebras related to the restricted Lie algebras of Cartan type started by \textit{Z. Lin} and \textit{D. K. Nakano} [J. Algebra 19, 852-888 (1996; Zbl 0862.17015)]. Let \(\mathfrak g\) be a restricted Lie algebra of Cartan type over an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(p>0\), \(G\) be the group of automorphisms of the algebra \(\mathfrak {g}\), \(u(\mathfrak {g})\) be the restricted universal enveloping algebra, and \(D(G)\) be the distribution algebra of \(G\). Earlier, the authors constructed the Hopf algebra \(D(G)u(\mathfrak {g})\) generated as an associative algebra by \(D(G)\) and \(u(\mathfrak {g})\) that can be considered as an analogue of the distribution algebra of a reductive algebraic group. This algebra contains the Hopf subalgebras \(D(G_r)u(\mathfrak {g})\) where \(D(G_r)\) is the distribution algebra of the kernel of the \(r\)th iteration of the Frobenius map. In this paper the classification of simple \(D(G)u(\mathfrak {g})\)- and \(D(G_r)u(\mathfrak {g})\)-modules is given. It is shown that these modules are twisted tensor products of simple \(u(\mathfrak {g})\)- and \(G_0\)-modules, where \(G_0\) is the maximal reductive subgroup in \(G\). Further the connection (for sufficiently large \(p\)) between injective \(u(\mathfrak {g})\)-modules and injective \(D(G_r)u(\mathfrak {g})\)-modules is established. The block theory for \(u(\mathfrak {g})\) is generalized for the algebras \(D(G_r)u(\mathfrak {g})\); in particular, it is shown that the algebra \(D(G_r)u(\mathfrak {g})\) has one block. The methods for computing Cartan invariants for \(D(G_r)u(\mathfrak {g})\) and extensions between simple \(D(G_r)u(\mathfrak {g})\)-modules are suggested. Along with this the theory of \(D(G_rT)u(\mathfrak {g})\)-modules where \(T\) is a maximal torus in \(G\) is considered.
