Let \(A\) be a Noetherian local ring with maximal ideal \({\mathfrak m}\). An ideal \(I\) of \(A\) has several nice properties if \(I^2=JI\) for some minimal reduction \(J\) of \(I\). For example Sally studied Cohen-Macaulay local rings such that \({\mathfrak m}^2=J{\mathfrak m}\) for some parameter ideal \(J\). In this paper, the authors study the ideal \(I\) of the form \(I=J: {\mathfrak p}^{(k)}\) where \(J\) is an ideal generated by a regular sequence, \({\mathfrak p}\) a prime ideal and \(k\) an integer such that \(k\geq 2\) -- the case of \(k=1\) was studied in the authors' preceding paper [\textit{A. Corso} and \textit{C. Polini}, J. Algebra 178, No. 1, 224-238 (1995; Zbl 0848.13015)]. The main theorem of this paper is a sufficient condition for \(I\) to satisfy \(I^2=JI\).
