Network scheduling techniques for construction project management (Q1374467)

The book is devoted to project network scheduling in industrial, financial and commercial organizators. The scheduling procedures presented are mainly based on deterministic network techniques. Special emphasis is given to the precedence diagramming method (PDM), currently used in the majority of the industrial applications. Apart from the classic PDM method, new methodological improvements of PDM are presented, e.g. generalized (so called maximal) type of constraints and time-cost trade-off considerations. A PC-based software package called ProjectDirector implementing the advanced material of the book is available from the author.
