A group \(G\) is called NSIP-group if it is torsion-free and the intersection of any two of its non-identity subgroups is non-identity. The main results of this paper are following: Theorem A. There exists a simple NSIP-group \(G=\langle a_1,a_2,\dots\rangle\) such that every proper subgroup of \(G\) is either cyclic or conjugate in \(G\) to a subgroup \(G_k=\langle a_1,\dots,a_k\rangle=\langle a_2,a_k\rangle\) for some \(k\geq 2\). Further, if \(p\) is a sufficiently large prime, then \(G\) may be chosen to be so that every subgroup \(G_k\) is an extension of the center \(Z(G_k)=\langle a_1^{p^{k-1}}\rangle\) by a group of exponent \(p^{k-1}\), where \(k\geq 1\). Theorem B. For each \(k\geq 3\) the group \(G_k\) in Theorem A has the centralizer lattice \(C(G_k)\) of length \(2k-1\) which is a sublattice of the lattice of all subgroups, but is not modular.
