The articles of this volume will be reviewed individually. The main forum for researchers in this area is the annual Symposium on Graph Drawing (GD). A bibliography on graph drawing algorithms, by \textit{G. Di Battista, P. Eades, R. Tamassia} and \textit{I. G. Tollis}, appeared in Vol. 4 of this journal, pp. 235-282 (1994; Zbl 0804.68001).
