On right congruences on semilattices of groups (Q1393045)

The author is looking for necessary and sufficient conditions on a semilattice of groups in order to have a distributive lattice of right congruences and arrives at the main result of the paper Semigroup Forum 14, 81-91 (1977; Zbl 0392.20041) by \textit{J. B. Fountain} and \textit{P. Lockley}, ``congruence'' replaced with ``right congruence''. What is more, the methods of this latter paper can equally well be applied to right congruences to get the results of the paper under review.
