Waveform relaxation methods for periodic differential--functional systems (Q1398716)

The waveform relaxation methods (WRMs) were originally presented in a very abstract form and then applied to initial functional-differential problems. Here the author extends the application of WRMs to differential-functional problems of periodic type. Introducing some assumptions, it is proved that the solution is unique. Moreover sufficient conditions are given in order to guarantee that the presented WRM converges. At last, the author deals with the problem of continuous dependence. A nice example enlightens the method.
